It’s best to arrive at least ten minutes prior to your first appointment to review procedures, fill out any necessary paperwork and get in to the spirit of relaxation. Late arrival may mean that your appointment must be shortened to prepare for the clients who follow.
SPECIAL NEEDS AND CONDITIONS
Please inform us if you have any specific medical conditions, especially if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or have any cardiac problems. We do not recommend body wraps for men or women with cardiac problems, or women who are pregnant. Spa treatments are not recommended on a full stomach or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
COMFORT AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
If you are uncomfortable removing your clothes, undergarments may be worn during your massage. Careful draping procedures are used at all times, and we encourage you to be frank with your therapist over any discomfort. Please wear the ‘barest’ minimum of jewelry to the spa….we want you to have freedom to move and are afraid we cannot be responsible for items lost or left at the spa.
For the sake of others (and yourself!) It’s best to leave the children at home. Massage clients under 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. There is no age limit for skin care treatments.
CELL PHONES AND SMART PHONES
As a courtesy to all, please turn off cell phones and pagers while you are at the spa. If you must take a phone call, please remember other spa services are going on right next to you.
Gift Cards are available for any dollar amount over 15.00 to use towards products, services or series programs.
Once I have a service with a therapist/esthetician must I always have the same one?
No, you can choose your therapist/esthetician with each appointment. It’s up to you! Some clients request the same one, some go with who is available at the time they need.
What if I need to change my appointment?
We request a minimum of 24 hours to move appointments ( 48 hours for multiple services). Your therapist has reserved this time slot exclusively for you. If we are able to move your time we will be happy to do so. As a courtesy to all our clients we will call you 2 days in advance to remind you of your appointment.
We realize on occasion you may need to move your appointment on short notice, however, repeated no shows or last minute cancellations will result in requiring a credit card to hold your appointment. In this case a no show/last minute cancellation will be charged 50% of the service cost.
Do you have shower facilities?
No, we do not. We found most of our clients have one or two services at a time. Unlike destination spas where clients spend hours and hours, most of our clients want their service and prefer to shower at home. We use a cream lotion for massages that won’t leave you greasy like massage oils can. Also, hot towels are available for a quick freshening up.
Are your products cruelty free?
Yes, all products are cruelty free. No animal testing.
Will I be red after a skin care treatment?
Most treatments are designed not to leave you pink or red. However, stronger treatments like the Pigment Balancing Treatment and the Microdermabrasion may leave you pink for a bit. Ask your Esthetician before you start your treatment if this is a concern for you.
Do you take last minute appointments?
Of course! It’s a busy world and we almost always schedule extra staff for this reason.
